Description

The Yellow-Faced Lapwing, more commonly known as the Masked Lapwing (vanellus miles), or Spur-winged Plover.

Famous for it's large yellow wattles (fleshy facial skin), and yellow spurs on the wings, which they use to defend their nests.

This bird is native to Australia.
